RMD: F150 (duragloss)

The customer wanted a wash and wax for his 2006 F 150, but I went a little farther.

Process: Degrease tires, wells, lower panels, and grill w/ purple power
Meg wheel brite on rims
Wash w/ citrus wash
DG 501 w/ white pad
DG 105 w/ blue pad
Malco Aquawax wipe down
Hyper dressing on all trim and tires via air compressor

IMO, I would have just did the wash and wax unless he paid for the other. My time is money and anything I throw in for free is just money I lose for that detail and cuts into time for other work.
My thoughts though.

How is the compressor/dressing working for you?

I hate putting on dressing any other way. As far as the extra work goes, he was paying 100.00 for wash and waxes on 3 different vehicles so I threw in a little extra. Sometimes taking a little more time w/ a customers makes you more money in the long run. I know time is money. I detail 4 to 5 days a week about 8 hours each day. Thanks for the input though.
 
Looks really wet bro. Nice use of products. There is just so much good stuff out there! I know me and you are finding that out.........inexpensive stuff too.

ahhh, didn't know there were more vehicles. Then yes, a little extra is good. As when I have several vehicles for one customer, I do the same. Didn't know if it was one or what.
I always tell them though, that I had a little extra time, so I did 'so and so" extra at no charge. I do that because I do not want them to think it'll get done every time I come out. If you know what I mean.

What dilution rate are you guys using with Purple Power or are you?
 
Great work Bradley...That Red looks outstanding..nothing like a Red Ford truck...lol....the 501/105 combo is a killer ..it just perks the colors right up.....he is good till summer now..just do not tell him...lol.....

I'm also finding the Duragloss products to be excellent, especially given the price and availability (now that I've found a local source :D )
 
DG501/105 is a great combo....and it lasts, but as AL said, dont tell him that...he he

Now we're talking...It's hard to beat #501/#105 looks... she is looking deep and wet. Awesome job Bradley, thanks for sharing....

Justin, Duragloss is not inexpensive, just looks that way. DG is alot bang for the buck IMO!

Are you guys using 501 as a cleaner before the 105? Is it a chemical cleaner or an abrasive?
I hv used 601 before 105 but never the RV product.

I do with my PC, #501 is a chemical cleaner. Work it in like any other polishes until it's almost gone then wipe off with MF.

You can use it as LSP, apply to the whole vehicle wait 45 minutes and wipe off with MF....
