Not sure what you are getting at, jack stands for safety. I do have a couple of cars that don't have a lot of lifting points, wind up using 2 floor jacks.

This is what I used. Vinegar neutralizes salt. Bought it at Dollar Tree for $1.25. Has a soap in it so if one puts it in a foamer it foams up and sticks/dwells on the undercarriage. I used it in my IK Pro Foam 2. Worked great. Rinse/ apply vinegar/ rinse again. Used it diluted 2:1. Will get quite a few cleanings from this half gallon.

Distilled white vinegar has many uses. Always have a few gallons stocked.

In your earlier post you just said a jack. Jack stands are the ticket. I've seen lots of people just use a jack without the stands. That's a death wish.
