Talvanos = John Talvan (Romanian origins, first generation American)
As a youth I played Dungeons & Dragons, when I went into the Air Force I dropped playing D & D and just started reading paper back from Dragon Lance and Ravenloft Saga's. I have always been intrigued with Elves and Vampires, and created a screen name that I use all over the net that is a transformation of my last name into Elvish. I have played numerous online games with this screen name, but currently only play Castle Age on iPhone. Ok, I am going to stop now, I am rambling again. LOL

Thanks everyone, I reply to a lot of threads and it's always so nice to be able to refer to someone in a "discussion" via their name, like "Bill" instead of a nickname.
I understand the need for privacy but attaching your first name only to a forum nickname is pretty innocuous.

I keep the first page of this thread open in a tab everyday and try to use it ever day so I appreciate it when I can address someone on a more personal level than
