Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe Correction

I did this car when it was new a little more than three years ago and have not done it since......well it picked up some "Patina".
27 hours later the vehicle is restored to "As new", below in the first pick is when I worked on the car as it was delivered new.

Here it is three years later.......

As the car came in at noon, there was no shade and now the weather is getting warm here so I wiped down the finish and decon/clayed with the wash reserved for after the compound stage.
The brightwork on the car was in horrible condition and needed a few hours just to correct this part of the car alone.

Clarity restored....finally.

Trunklid compounding step 50/50.

Top right rear quarter before, almost looks like I sanded it......but I did not.

Entire trunklid cut.

Passenger door 50/50.

Even on the lower rockers there was marring.

Correcting the rocker.

Compounded and leveled.

Left rear quarter.

After.

Someone else had been here(Holograms a plenty....).

They always comeback....... on the evening of the second day it was wash time to remove dust/polishing oils etc..

Back in the shop after the final rinse.

Even the custom made frame was marred and dry.

Compounded and polished, ready for final polish and sealant.

Filler panel area finished down.

A few interior pics, no befores needed as it was not that bad.

I use them on the pads at the end of the lift arms on specific jacking points of each car to protect the underside of the car.

What type of treatment do you give to the wood decking behind the back seats?

It looks like teak. All I ever did to teak back when I had boats was to oil it. But that was 30 years ago.

On the Brightwork CG Metalshine, as for the correction that will not be forthcoming except I did utilize Megs D300 quite a bit.

I did utilize teak oil on the wood(Had some left over from the first time I did this car) as me no do boats(LOL)or planes as it is just me and you need a crew for that type of work.

Honestly the truth is he did not notice or thank me for the job, odd duck client who has a fleet of cars that sit outside As you see it took 3 years to bring it back!!!, but I do not take it personal.......just did what I always do(Quality) and did the car for myself in many ways.................sad reality.
