I did this car when it was new a little more than three years ago and have not done it since......well it picked up some "Patina".
27 hours later the vehicle is restored to "As new", below in the first pick is when I worked on the car as it was delivered new.

As the car came in at noon, there was no shade and now the weather is getting warm here so I wiped down the finish and decon/clayed with the wash reserved for after the compound stage.
The brightwork on the car was in horrible condition and needed a few hours just to correct this part of the car alone.

Very nice work! What are these yellow and grey blocks on the ground?

I use them on the pads at the end of the lift arms on specific jacking points of each car to protect the underside of the car.

Very very nice!
Absolutely one of my favourite luxury rides and you did it justice!

Great job. :)

Great work, and I like that you did the license plate cover, I bet the owner was pleased at the attention to detail

i don't really like those cars, but your detail work got me drooling all over it.

What type of treatment do you give to the wood decking behind the back seats?

It looks like teak. All I ever did to teak back when I had boats was to oil it. But that was 30 years ago.

Quite a patina it acquired!!

RR paint, even the metallic, is so rich and flat, OMG! Perfection as always, Bob! Outstanding work!

Excellent work there Bob :xyxthumbs:
That RR was a real mess and now it looks better than new :dblthumb2:

Awesome job Bob. Do you mind sharing the products used?

On the Brightwork CG Metalshine, as for the correction that will not be forthcoming except I did utilize Megs D300 quite a bit.

I did utilize teak oil on the wood(Had some left over from the first time I did this car) as me no do boats(LOL)or planes as it is just me and you need a crew for that type of work.

Excellent work once again Bob! :props: Hopefully one day I will be lucky enough to work on an exotic, until then I'll keep looking for your threads :).

  • Nice car
  • Great photography
  • Superb detailing
  • Awesome setup
  • I like the ramp

Add all this up = 1 Happy Customer!! :props:

Honestly the truth is he did not notice or thank me for the job, odd duck client who has a fleet of cars that sit outside  As you see it took 3 years to bring it back!!!, but I do not take it personal.......just did what I always do(Quality) and did the car for myself in many ways.................sad reality.
