Been lurking here for about a year and a half to get some tips for detailing... well my better half and I decided to finally invest in some decent equipment to do mobile detailing on the side. After researching everything we decided that Autogeek was the perfect vendor and we placed the order on Friday and we are pretty excited :xyxthumbs:.

So far we are starting out with the DA Flex, Aztec HR and the Daimer 300CS. Look forward to getting to know yall!

:welcome: To Autogeek Online Ross!

Glad to have you aboard!! :props:

Alexandria, but we are currently working on moving back to either the Westbank or Northshore. So I take that you run that SL a little over the speedlimit? ;)

speed limit? whats that :joking:

good luck with the mobile biz. have had mine for 2 1/2 years in Lafayette and has done nothing but grow.

one good thing about being in LA is we can work year round.:dblthumb2:

It is great! What really drew us to it is the start up cost is very flexible, it's something I enjoy (I'm kinda sick of being a system analyst). And sometimes its flat out amazing what you can pull off!

Yes it is. Its something you really to have a passion for to do it day in an day out. I know what you mean there is nothing like the shine of a well detailed black car in the sunshine!!!

Welcome! I'm new here as well, and also adding detailing part time to my wsr/leather repair business--and I also have a full time job! Looking to make the auto detailing/repair full time soon.

You can't go wrong with Auto Geek, I've been buying from them off and on for years for my personal use and really love their products. They also have outstanding customer service--which really makes a difference for a newbie when you need more info on products. They know their stuff!

How do you like your Daimer 300CS?

It's a good unit I think, the continuous fill option is convenient. To be honest I think a continuous fill model from any supplier (That has good cust support and parts/repair) would be a good investment without having to spend the cash on a Daimer. It does an outstanding job cleaning leather and glass. It is great for nooks and crannies that are difficult to clean otherwise. And as a finish for carpet it tends to help get up any extra residue making the nap a little softer. Just keep in mind you are dealing with really hot water and you can avoid damaging anything. I thought about doing a review with video/photo some time if I get the chance.

I also wanted to say thank you to eveyone for the warm welcome!
