I want to purchase a 3" and a 6" rotary backing backing plate that I can use on both my rotary buffer and use it on my PC DA using the rotary-to-DA adapter. I am undecided between the Lake Country rotary backing plates or the Flex-Foam HD backing plates. I know the LC are urethane based while the Flex-Foam is obviously foam. Any recommendations on which ones I should buy? Thanks.

I have both, and they are both ok. Besides the flex foam, the LC backing plate looks just like everybody elses, except maybe the top color is different. BTW, what size pads are you going to use? 6" is a bit big for a PC ...

I bought LC 6.5" CCS pads from AG which I want to use.

I have the flex foam for both sizes and absolutely love them! In fact, I just had the bigger one and recently added the smaller one, I'm that impressed with them. I've been using the bigger one this whole season with no issues whatsoever.

Thank Richy. Are these plates also good with a Porter Cable with the adapter?
