Go and get a pc and a rotary and do a corvette and use a watch to time how long it takes to use the KBM method to using a rotary.Both methods work but for heavy swirls i just don't see it.If i could find someone to do half the car the KBM and the half rotary i would be convinced.Some how i have to make that happenPeople are using the PC's because they are cheaper. They are also buying back-ups just in case.
New M105 is kicking but w/ KB method - Autopia.org
Agreed! The rotary is more efficient like I said. But the flex is not too far behind it. That's all I was saying.
The people using the KB method are tearing up PC's. That is why they are buying back-ups. They won't use the flex because of the price and price to replace. That's my take on that thread.
I'm personally not interested in the KB method
Louie, I like you and you have great advice but we will have to agree to disagree about your thoughts on the flex not being to far behind a rotary.
Back to the OP's question. The rotary will save you a lot more time over the PC. M105 will speed up the PC's process, but the rotary will win.Do you get faster results with a rotary (makita) than an orbital (7424) I hear the Meguairs 105 is better with a rotary and Menzerna SIP is better with an orbital. Does the rotary save time? Not sure if I should go with a rotary? I love my 7424 with SIP.
How about this:
PC = Honda Accord
Flex = Chevrolet Camaro
Rotary = Chevrolet Corvette
