Routine use Polishes/Compounds? How frequent?

How frequently can I use polishes and/or compounds on my Daily Driver? Can products like XMT 360 be used routinely without wearing down the paint? How about Klasse AIO? XMT 3/2/1? Paint Cleaners? Glazes?

I've had my Jeep now for 4 years, and frequently wax and polish... Eventually will I wear threw the clear? Should I lay off for a while? What are good routine use products?

i asked the same quistion to scott from the forum and he said that useing a p/c 3 to 4 times a year with a mild polish and pad is fine . id stay a way from compounding to much thats really agreesive for the clear and not needed on a regular basis.
 
As I offered above, never polish more than needed. A good paint cleaner can also be a great choice to replace polish on great finishes. That said, when polishing is needed use the lowest polish and pad combo first. I suspect I average 3 polishes annually and most with a finishing pad and 106FF.
 
How about XMT 360. Is it designed as a product for detailers to do a one step job on a customers car every couple of years. Or is it designed for personal, repeated use?
 
Also, what is a Paint Cleaner really? Does it just clean away old wax/polish/sealent, or does it actually do something to the paint?
