Thanks for all the replies..I may get the 253 for my tires and BF for my mats. I tried 303...looked nice...but left them a lil slippery. Been using trim spray...works just OK. They really dont get dirty...I just like a "like new" appearance. Prolly my OCD kicking in.

Firstly, don't bother wasting money on the Chemical Guys Mat Renew, it's garbage. While it foams up nicely, it doesn't actually do any cleaning or enhancing like the label says it does.





I have been using the McKee's version of late, which seems much better. This Subaru cargo mat I topped with a some heavily diluted Carpro Perl, enough to bring some richness back without making the surface slippery.







I have also been using Koch Chemie GUF, a product specifically designed for rubber mats and doesn't make them slippery.

How do you like the Guf?

GUF is an interesting product.

It smells and "feels" like an old school silicone dressing despite being free of silicone.

I find it needs to be sprayed directly onto the mat rather than applied to an applicator or towel from the dripper style bottle dispenser. I then scrub it in with a towel to level it out.



As designed, it's anti-slip and doesn't look greasy either.

So this is the beading from Adams Graphene spray ceramic I put down last year. This is passenger side that was coated around a year ago and out of the car for 4 months.

It truly makes my husky Xact contours repel water.

Driver side:

You can see it clings to more water. But both siting dirty for 4 months in storage and cleaned right up.

Should use on floor Matt’s every 3-4 months.

This stuff is nice for paint if compared to a sealant and not a coating. Great for plastics, rubber and especially floor mats.

Anyone who has this stuff ant winter floor mats, give it a try.

I have used Meguiars Water Based dressing, Hyper Dressing, and Griots on my weathertechs that come in. What I do is hold the bottle at least 3 feet up and spray maybe 2 sprays and let it settle on the mat for a few minutes, then I wipe it all down with a dry MF to take away the excess and that helps it not become slick

Stoners trim shine, let soak in for a couple hours and then wipe off. Look great, and not slippery

Had rubber factory genuine VW floor mats for over 4 year's
Just used simple green to clean still look good.

the rubber tops on foot controls and running boards for HDs are usually pretty filthy and worn, they come out really well when i use water, and APC like simple green and a tooth brush, now a foot control is no floor mat, i wouldn't scrub a floor mat with a tooth brush, but it leave it bright, black, and new looking, even if it's worn a bit....and no sealant, slippery surface, just dry grippy rubber

I am a big fan of Duragloss 253 for tires but not for floor mats. It leaves the surface too slippery. WeatherTech makes their own protectant and it works very well.

I tried McKee’s Tire Mat product and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it cleans and how good the mats look afterwards.

I like to use Turtle Wax Endura Trim Coating for rubber pedals. The stuff works great and doesn’t leave any slickness at all.

I’ve also used it to coat the entire plastic/rubber floor inside a Chevy Silverado and it turned out perfect and lasted quite a while too.

Tried the Mckee’s, Weathertech and Chem guys product.

The Adam’s outperformed them all.

I use foaming tire cleaner Do use different brands but only the foaming not the shinny slick one/ Wipe with a old towel so they are not slippery and they look great/ My $0.02

I tried Wolfgang Tire and Rubber protectant but it was way too slippery. I don’t want any lawsuits. Then I tried 303 and as I love the product for the interior, it was a little less slippery but still too much.
Then I tried Blackfire Mat Cleaner and protectant and the search is over. It left a sheen to the surface but not too slippery. This is my new favorite.
