Is there any product out there that will restore the rubber or vinyl sealing around doors and windows ?

Several good products out there for rubber seals. I've been using 1Z Einszett Rubber Care Stick (Gummi Pflege) and Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus with good results. Einszett Vinyl Rubber Care and Protectant also looks like a good product that may be worth a try.

1Z Einszett Gummi Pflege Stift (Rubber Care Stick) seems to keep the rubber seals and gaskets soft and pliable.

I bought the Gummi Pflege, but I have yet to use it on my door and window seals of my 2003 Mustang Cobra. Does this product revive the seals or does it just make it look good and then protect them? I am wondering if I would be better off to just buy new seals and then use the Gummi to keep it brand new?

If the seals are truly worn, cracked and dried out, don't think any product would be able to put life back in to them. Where as 1Z Einszett Gummi Pflege Stift and other such products provide a good protectant as well as making them look good.

What are you using to clean the rubber before applying the 1Z?

I've used APC+ 1:4 on a rag 4 or 5 times has the rubber still leaves a black residue on the rag.

Gummi is very nice for the part that is not exposed to the elements (apply after the material is fully cleaned with APC and dried). It really hydrates the rubber, makes it more pliable and reduces noises.
If it is exposed, it's better to use UTTG.

Looks like a lot of you use Gummi Pflege including myself. A little useful hint..after using GP remove the foam applicator and wash it out with warm water and dawn. Dry completely and cap for the next use.

I use the gummi and Duragloss 531 and prefer the Duragloss. I'm a noob so this is just a personal and not a professional preference.

Wow great price on AG also. Do u guys make extra $$ of that service or do you add it into your exterior services ?

Ok I think the forever black is more in the lines of what I was looking for. I guess you apply that and then the gummi. Has anyone ever tried the forever black yet ?
