What's the best rubber dressing that I can use to protect the rubber that seals the door windows? Need something that dries fast and will not stain the glass when you close the door. Will 303 work?Feed back please

303 should work just fine, but I personally like Pinnacle Vinyl/Rubber protectant better, as it is more then just a protectant, it is a rubber conditioner. I treat all my rubber seals with it every 6 weeks or so.

I've found DG#271 and Mothers BtoB work well.

303 Aerospace Protectant should work well. If you have the 303 Cleaner use 20:1 spritzed on a damp MF to clean the rubber first.

it is slightly sticky, works best on exterior trim, where durability is a must...I think it is oil based...

Did it ever dry out for you?
I've used it & it stayed tacky & collected dirt & dust.
My bottle of 271 sits WAY in the back of my product cabinet.

I also have the same problem as he has. What should I prefer? I am not well versed in car terms.I've bought a new one and I want to take care of it s much as possible.

Prevention is better than cure.Isn't it?

I would not use the 271 on shiny window rubbers...its made for flat black rubber...the shiny rubber is not as absorbant...so the dressing sorta just sits on it....

for shiny trim rubber I use either the tire Mat dressing...or 201 or the Marine protectant....the Marine offers the best protection....high UV protection and dries fast....

the 271 works well for the flat rubber on say bumpers...tires...its gets absorbed there....it also works well on the door seals....

Gummi Pflege is the best you can use on window and convertible top rubber.
