Ruby Red Tricoat Explorer gets glossed!

So after doing the tuxedo black SHO Taurus the owners wife wanted her Explorer taken care of. The interior got a thorough detailing with Mckees and IGL products. Exterior got the normal wash and decon process. Paint was corrected using my G21, Adams swirl killer mini. M100 on a BOSS microfiber cutting pad knocked out the defects. Then Hyper polish on a white Rupes pad for finish polishing before being coated in IGL Quartz 2 year coating.

Sorry for the brief breakdown. Getting over a illness and just wanted to throw this up.

This Tricoat paint is unreal and definitely one of my favorite colors.

Paint looks fantastic. To bad they are up here in Massachusetts and will have to drive around in yet another snow storm. Can't wait for March to end!
 
Looks awesome, I love this color too. My buddy has a F150 in this color that I'm hoping to get to work on this spring. Whenever spring decides to show up.....

I too love the color. My Father in Law has an F-150 that color and it was a joy to work on.
 
Wow job well done, that paint correction on point, that’s a nice color to work on to see the defects removed to the final result

I just bought a 2018 Explorer and it is great! The 2019/2020 model is supposed to be brand new and offer a ST trim level. If you have any questions about the Explorer feel free to send me a message and I'll answer them for ya.
