Who has lost their precious detail supplies or equipment under the wheel of their or someone elses car. I did a quick wipe down of the hood for the first time using my brand new bottle (7 days old) of CG V7. Had to make a run to the hospital for awhile to see my wife. Rolling back up to my apartment and I see a vaguley familiar bottle in the road crushed. Im thinking no it cant be i took it inside right, Guess not!

Not anything valuable but ive ran over a little plastic chair that i sit on while im working on the front end of my car, twice. Luckily there wasnt any damage but youd think I would have learned the first time.. Nope!

About a month ago, I ran over an unopened bottle of Meguire's Ultimate Liquid Wax.

I've run over a vacuum hose more than twice over the years and they're never the same.....Almost ran over a wash bucket but I heard it tip over so I stopped....:dunno:

Sometimes a person is preoccupied, or burdened, with things that
causes their mind to wander a little bit every now and then.

BTW: How's the Wife doing...Hope she's alright.

I ran this backing plate over with my van while I was preparing for a mobile job. I didn't even realize it had fallen out of my bag into the driveway. I saw it after I backed the van out. Being my only DA backing plate at that particular time, I had to do the entire job with a rotary.

Just a 15 year old vacuum attachment. But then I just brand new ones.

I have not run over anything yet.

The biggest mishap was my DA fell off the workbench and broke the rear housing. It still works but the rear plastic piece is now held on with tape.

I've run over a grit guard before. Broke off one of the bottom pieces, bust was still able to use it.

I've also run over the used oil catch-pan after changing the oil on my old, slammed, Ford Contour. To say that I made a mess would be an understatement.

Glad im not the only one who has ran over their precious goods. Keep em coming. Oh and madmerc i feel ya i had a gallon of oil i set right under my tire. And did the same thing biggest mess ever

Backed over my Milwaukee rotary with the work van, was almost 15 years old at the time. Was hoping I ruined it to give me an excuse to buy a new one, but the dang thing still works! It just won't die :(

Ran over my snap on orbital with a H3 still works great though after a new backing plate.

Wish my VO7 was as resilient as some your polishers :)

I had some Jerk run over my polish and spray the entire side of my customers car after I had finished it. I had the pleasure of repolishing the entire thing after....he didnt even appologize

I ran over my flex 3401 the first day I had it . Killed it. Sent it to flex and they covered it :

Rear housing
Speed
Trigger
Backing plate.

Sure, I've backed over products while moving vehicles to get the missed spot while dressing tires.
I have stepped on the plastic cone on the Tornador, breaking it to pieces.

I've even had my eyeglasses slip off my face while rotary compounding...later smashing them into the concrete.

One of my NOT YET's is running over a piece of equipment.

Last year, I was backing a customer's Ford explorer out of my shop and suddenly heard a loud crash and was jolted to a stop. I think I had a heart attack and a stroke at the same time! My power washer was sitting just close enough to the back tire that I ran over the wheel on my power washer. I frantically checked and double checked for damage on the customer's vehicle, but luckily there was nothing! I lucked out big time!
