This will be my first rupes polisher, and it has a 5 inch bp and I have a ton of 5inch pads . Or should a 21 be my first rupes polisher?

yes it is, they are around $370 brand new. buyer beware though if a problem arises and you have no warranty with it. get a flex instead...

If you buy it from an authorized/reputable dealer then yes, it comes with a 1 year warranty iirc.
