Rupes 15 speeds

Hey everybody:

I just recently got the Rupes 15 (a steal at $164) and am curious about what speeds I would run it on 1-6 compared to the Porter cable xp... For compounding, polishing, waxing, ect. I got no manual with the machine so that is why I am asking.

That was a steal..wonder why the odd amount. Speed 3-4 to spread the polish and speed 5-6 to polish.
 
Was it a demo unit or new? Either way that's a great deal.
 
You beat me to that order! lol They should sell more demo units like this. Congrats btw, hope you enjoy the Rupes as much as I have.
 
Great info on speed selection...I got the other one on that 50% off sale on the two demo units they offered last week...paid $174.99
 
Thanks yea I agree it was a really lucky buy, I think $160 actually had 15 in credit or something plus 50% off. But thanks so never really past 4.5?

@Rsurfer, it seems to get pretty fast at 5,6 but you use those speeds?

Yes, all the time. Some speed dials on the Rupes 15 and 21 are off quite a bit.
