rupes is now selling a detailing utility belt. well all it is is a standard work belt with attachments and i had the idea way before them i took and bought a normal work belt and then bought a hammer holder which is like a metal loop, i use this to hang spray bottles from (up to three but it starts to get heavy if they are all full) and then i bought a little accessory pouch to hold my detailing brush and wand i can also tuck a towel into it and hang a spray bottle if need be. this method cost me about 16 dollars, and could easily have been less but i wanted some of the better looking items. it could easily be done for under ten. and the best part about this is that you can go to ay hardware store and get this. and then just slide the attachments around to the back and they wont get in the way detailing or scratch the surface. :xyxthumbs:
thanks for reading guys

Great idea! I personally Dont like anything on me because of the risk of scratching the vehicle, but if it works for you go with it!

:iagree:

I didn't like all of the scratchable stuff on their belt, and it was expensive, so I actually have one coming to market in a few weeks myself. I'm talking to Autogeek about carrying it. It is soft cotton with no buckles or rivets, and I sized it to hold Mag's and other bottles specifically. It'll come with a pocket for a couple of bottles, pads, your phone, and a cord/towel loop. Pricing should be about 1/2 what the Rupes sells for. It ain't italian, but I've been using my original design for 9 months now, and wouldn't detail without it (at least polishing paint, I can never find my polish bottle without it on my hip now.)

PM me if you want me to let you know when it's ready. Fingers crossed for AG carrying it, have to see if they are interested, what their agreement is with Rupes and competing products, and their wholesale numbers.
