Getting ready to order and need to decide short or long neck version. What are the advantages of the long neck? How long is the long neck? There are no photos on the store site.

I got the long and it's about 4 inches longer than the short both electric tooth brushes are good can't go wrong

After speaking with Jason Rose from Rupes I went with the long neck and couldn't be happier. It has good reach and feels comfortable. I find myself using it mostly as a rotary and not so much as a da.

The advantages of the long neck is it allows you to reach into tight areas where the short neck won't reach. That's really about it. So if you're buffing out the swirls on the inside air scoop of a Ferrari, Lamborghini or McLaren this can come in real handy.

I'll see if I can't take some pictures today since I have both tools out and staged for shipping to Wisconsin for the upcoming roadshow class.

This is a link to what I believe is the best review on the iBrid. Actually, until I had read this I was still on the fence about purchasing one, & if I'm honest, I was a couple of steps down the "I don't need it" side of the fence at that. Then Marc0EX posted this review.

& I had to spend more money. Glad I did too. :props: There is a picture explaining the difference in size between the long & the short too but I see Mike has provided a side by side for us. :props:

Fantastic tools - happy shopping.

Also bought long. It can do everything short can do, but short cannot do everything long can do.
