Rupes LHR75E Mini

I dont understand how getting more orbit and less power than a GG6 can cut or correct more than this one..

It could correct bigger areas due to the bigger orbit but it is 400W enough for deep correction?

The 75 E is on my list . I hope Autogeek will also sell the Bigfoot baseball caps I see on their site.

Nice, i was going to get the Rupes 15 to replace my PC next season, however i think the Coarse will be the winner!

Ignore the power consumption number. It isn't a meaningful specification for the paint correcting power of the machine. It's on par with horsepower ratings for shop vacuums, in terms of its non-usefulness.

It just tells you how much AC power the motor consumes from the input side, which is several steps removed from the correcting power at the output side (at the pad). It has an indirect relationship, but it isn't a helpful figure when evaluating the correcting power of different machines.

Besides the excellent paper from Kevin Brown mentioned above, another shorter (a little over 1 page) resource is this one about the Rotex line of sanders:
http://www.festoolusa.com/media/pdf/understanding the two modes of the rotex dual mode sander.pdf
Those have two (switchable) Dual Action modes: one with forced rotation and one with free-spinning rotation.

So excited for that 75e Mini, should be a game changer in a good way.

Hi Paul, any info that you care to share on the new 12mm Duetto and 75 mini?

It won't be cheap but still might have to get one after someone else test it first then maybe buy it.

Stylin' that utility belt there Mike. :dblthumb2:

Although I challenge anyone to get within 3' of a car with that puppy. ;)

Here's a quote from that article,

I received mine in April if I remember correctly...

I know Paul Dalton received two prototypes I'm guessing Kevin Brown was the fourth.

Just to note, all the guys that attend the next two Thursday night projects here at AG will get a chance to use these tools first hand.
