rupes mini speed

I just got my rupes mini in today and that little thing generates a lot of heat to the pad. I was just wondering what speeds do you normally use it on for compounding/polishing? spreading wax? and do you just use minimal pressure?

I used the white pad and ultra fine polishing gel on speed 5 with my 75 today. I used very little pressure as my paint is in pretty good condition and all I was after was removal of the rest of the existing coating and that little extra buff before waxing. No issues with heat at all.

I usually use the same speed for polishing and cutting.

Usually it's between 3-4.
