I have a rupes lhr15II that is about 4-5 years old with maybe 2 hours max running time on the machine..it has been about a year since I last used it and it is not working. I can hear it straining and it seems like it is almost wanting to start up but doesn’t. I did try turning the orbital part but it doesn’t want to run. I tried calling rupes but they are closed until the beginning of next year. Does anyone on this forum know if this is a common issue and if so is there a quick fix?

Most issues are either the brushes or the power cord. On a rare occasion it’s the power switch.

I man I am hoping this will not be a flex vs rules vs griots battle….. I am just looking for a quick fix.. thank you for your response just hoping we can pin point the root problem. I will call them at the beginning of the year if I can’t figure it out. I did see some post on this forum with the same issue. It seems if you don’t use them often this happens.
