What's the best way to deal with the rust on these wheels? Any solution I can buy?

Take the hubcaps off and paint the steel wheels black.

Yeah, but...they have no paint on them anymore. You can get some rust remover, but by the time you turn around they will be rusted again. You need to paint them.

Evapo-rust a steel brush, and a crap load of elbow power. Then paint.

I would take them off, sand blast them and re paint. Or, you could just buy some new steel rims. They are pretty cheap anyways.

If you just want a cheap temporary fix...just paint right over the rust. It will come back through eventually...but who cares, just do it again down the road.

you could do the 2 dollar walmart job. just buy a can of black spray paint from walmart and spray it on the car, just remove the hubcaps. in a few months it will look like crap again.

imo remove the hubcaps, use a steel wire brush, some 50, 100, 200, 400 grit sand paper, or maybe just try 150 and 300. then use some rust remedy. they have it in spray cans and it turns rust into a black primer and will prevent rusting. then a few coats of black paint. you can get some high temp wheel paint and clear coat it if you want lasting results, 1-2+ years. It will be a 50 dollar job and a weekend. sanding and drying will take a while.

por-15 would do the trick. just do what weavers said with the prep work and put the por-15 on the surface. It will hold up very well. Worked on the axles of my dodge which got dipped in salt water all the time and used to rust like crazy.
