Rust!!!

I'm in the process of restoring a vintage VW convertible and as one might guess the floor pans are still solid but rusting. I've checked into several different products that claim to stop rust, any thoughts?

rust converting or stopping products are junk including the original por 15 (they have a lot of good products but the original paint over rust product is absolute junk IMO and experience)...you are much better off removing the rust by mechanical and chemical means and painting the bare metal properly, are you doing this in the driveway with rattle cans or do you have access to any sort of shop with painting equipment?
