RV Polishing

It will depend on what the finish is. If it is painted, then work on it like a car. Clay, then polish with M205. RV clearcoat is much softer than car clearcoats.

If it is aluminum-sided and painted white with vinyl decals, then claying should also help remove the oxidation. Remember, this paint is applied via an electrostatic charge. This paint is very thin, so be very careful.

If the RV is fiberglass, then get Meguiar's marine catalog. In the catalog, they have a chart that shows you what steps to take based on the condition.

Most of them are fiberglass. I usually wash then polish with an AIO like HD Speed. Great cut, nice wet looks, good durability if it is garage kept.

I usually charge by the linear foot. 40 ft. x 9(or whatever your market will stand) = $360

For a wash, AIO with my Rupes 15 and 6 inch orange foam pad it usually takes me about 6-8 hours. I go home and collapse afterwards. Make sure it is worth your while.

Thanks guys. After looking at this monster boat and RV I felt a little overwhelmed. I do this part time and mostly because I love working on cars. This did not look fun so I passed. Maybe if I was paying my bills with this I would feel different.
