?'s regarding fiberglass hardtop

Hello All

I am about to do a full correction detail on my S2000. I put on a fiberglass hardtop on recently. It was freshly painted back in January. The hardtop was very rough so I clay barred it to see if it was just over spray from the paint shop. Luckily it was and it is glass smooth now. However it is fairly swirled.

My question is can I go ahead and do a full correction with it being fiberglass + being freshly painted in the last 3+ months? I am using M105 and M205 combo with a PC7424xp. I also plan on doing Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant afterwards followed by a few layers of Wolfgang füzion wax.

So if I can use my PC should I do a lower speed or will I be fine with using 4-5 speed?

What was the time period the painter said to allow, for the paint to totally cure?

Is this a BC/CC paint system re-spray?

Remember to perform a "test-spot"; and:
"Least aggressive first".

I don't think it should be a problem at all. As a lot of things are wet sanded and buffed the day after being painted. I am in the process of doing this exact thing on my new fiberglass hood. It was painted maybe 2 months ago. I just got done wet sanding it yesterday and hopefully be buffing on it tomorrow (with 105 and 205) I have never been told to treat it differently because it's fiberglass.
3 months should be plenty of time for it to have cured by now. The paint that I used said that it was fully cured in 14 days.
This is all based off the tiny bit of experience I got from doing the body work\painting on my car. Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in as this info could be totally wrong.

Watch out for heat build-up in the panel during compounding stage.
