For those of us who have to deal with removing snow from our swirl free rides.

What method tools have you used for, again Safe snow removal?

Mine is a boars hair wash brush.

Thanks Steve

SnoBrum....

Few different methods...

1.) I lightly push / pull snow off, but I don't press down. I leave about 3/4" of snow on top...
2.) Or if it's heavy wet stuff, I push and let the weight of the snow push the rest off.
3.) You could take a MF, cut a small hole where the handle screws into the SnoBrum, and wrap the SnoBrum... (kind of like a Swiffer Duster applicator).

But by far, I have a Honda Fit with VERY soft paint, and the SnoBrum has not induced any swirls or scratches...

For the one that sits outside, I bring it back in to the garage......let it warm enough for melt and then bring it back out and take the blower to it if the snow is kinda stuck

If it's powdery like today, one can literally blow it clean

For heavy wet snow, I use a microfiber wash mitt on the end of an extendable pole.....like the ones they sell at WallyWorld for 10.00. I don't put any pressure on it, and just try to get the bulk of it off. If it's dry powdery snow, like what we just got in my area, the leaf blower cleans it off just fine.

Backpack blower for light fluffy snow but our vehicles live in the garage at night.

My wife's car gets the garage during bad weather.

Exactly! Going on my 4th winter with the SnoBrum, and I haven't noticed any marring from it whatsoever.

As to "Safe":
I'm unsentimental.

I "rake sno" off our vehicles.

Sno Brum is fine. The main point on paint is to try and not get all the way to your paint and drag across it. Get as much off as possible without touching paint. Glass, get it all off.

I scrape a small section just big enough to see out of, then drive off. If you drive fast enough the snow blows off, and by the time you get to your destination the defroster has melted a bit more of the window off.

I don't know where you live, but in Calgary, that is an instant ticket, and cops are making a real effort to enforce it, too. So completely clear the car off, or risk getting a ticket. Also. leaving snow on the roof, of any amount, will have that snow on the rear window very shortly after you start moving.

For medium to heavy snow accumulation, I remove the snow from the windows with a brush then go to the nearest coin car wash and remove the snow with the pressure washer. The pressure washer blows/rinses the snow off.

Thanks where can I purchase this snow brum?

Thanks sir, Steve.

make sure the car is clean before it snows, i think thats important. that way when you are taking snow off you are'nt dragging old dirt across the paint. also have a good coat of wax on it

I understand but we do ALWAYS have to consider the safety of not only us but others, I'm sure you agree?

Or when you hit the brakes it slides and completely covers the windshield...ask me how i know
