Safe to buff and polish

How many times is it safe to buff and polish a car during a show car season. It is so easy to get scratches while little kids and drunks are walking around you're baby

If you are really talking about scratches, it may not be safe to polish it out the first time. If you are talking about wash swirls and that type of thing, you can certainly polish many many times.

If you've got people actually scratching your car, you need so stanchions and velvet rope to keep people away.

Use good washing and drying techniques to avoid marring. Place a nice note on car at local shows asking to refrain from touching. Use good soft towels. You can polish a car several times generally speaking, and polishes are different in abrasive quality depending on the need. The good techniques you should not need to polish that often.
