Salt air and rubber?

On my last truck the rubber in the door jams started to "warp" and i feel it was because of parking at the beach all summer and the salt air is what caused this, when i say warped, i mean the rubber started peeling right out of the door jams , it basically curled up , what should i treat my new ride with to prevent this from happening??

Treat it with 303 AP for starters. There are a couple other things that can help to apply as well but it sounds like you could have had an adhesive issue? If adhesive issue then treating the rubber won't solve that.

Einszett Rubber Stick might be another option. I am always amazed after the initial application how long it seems to work and stay water resistant too, not sure about salt however.
