hi folks, just received my order from AG. Awesome service & surreal catalog of products. Was so glad that Ag shipped to Canada, cause detailing products are so hard to find here in Montreal.

This weekend i will be using my foamgun with DPXtreme foam, do a bit of claying, a bit of polishing (SSR1/2.5) and EX sealant. I am skipping few processes like wax & glaze cause i am lazy & didnt buy the porter rotary buffer. (next order :-)) )

You don't need to do a glaze, that's just the extra step for personal preferences. Welcome to AG! Have fun with your weekend detail :)

Hi and welcome to our forum. Please post pics of your detail when you're done.

If you are doing detail work in Montreal at this time of year you must have a heated garage. I am jealous, and its probably warmer here in southern Ontario than your neck of the woods. When I ordered from AG I just went to Florida for vacation and got my stuff while in the state. Way faster and free shipping. Plus no PST or GST either. Good luck on your detailing and yes the PC is a nice unit. I purchased the UDM myself.

Yes i do have a heated garage :D I just did my first attempt at polishing, i ordered the PC and with Poorboy's SSR2.5 & SSR1 i couldnt get any good results at removing swirls and spider webs, so i abandoned the project and just sealed the paint ...

What pad are you using? The buffer speed and the rate at which you move the pad across the surface has a huge effect on the final results. Also be sure and let the product break down or it won't work well. No experience with the PB polishes but I do like their EX-P sealant. Don't get discouraged, just practice until you see results.
