Sanity check please

Because of an equipment malfunction (edge pad fell apart) today it looks like I may need to do my LSP by applying the wax by hand (gasp). If I go that route and drive the car for a week there is no reason I can't do a simple wash next weekend and reapply the wax with my new pads, right?

Logically I cant imagine a reason I cant but I have always done the wash,clay,polish,lsp all in one day with my PC. So this is a bit off the beaten path for me.

There will be no problem. I usually apply wax only by hand.

I only apply wax by Hand ! - I just feel it is the one step that is easier to do by hand and you get better better results and less over wax and wax in panel gaps where you don't want it.

I always add/remove my LSP by hand. Machine use normally offers alot of wasted product IMO. I think you'll be fine !
