Hey,

So I've been hounding my family members for at least one of them to get me an Autogeek.net gift card and Santa came through for me. I opened up my e-mail this morning and a $100 gift certificate to Autogeek.net arrived in my inbox.

Anybody else get any or expecting any gift cards from the Geek? Or do you just tell people what you want and they order the product(s) for you?

or do your family members need a crow-bar to pry you away from detailing your vehicle, and they would rather get you something non-detailing-related?

I just wanted the WeatherTech floor mats.... That was a BIG "NO CAR STUFF" from the wifey. Whew!!!

Like Emile, I had a pleasent surprise E-Mail also. Now for the fun of picking the goodies I want:D
 
After years of buying parts for my car ("bent pieces of metal that I have no idea what they are" as my Mom likes to call them), I usually hand over a spreadsheet to my family. I think it's easier that way - we all have different interests and we would rather buy something that the other person truly wants or needs. In my case, there a lot of stuff from AG on my list. They also know that I detail cars on the side and that I use the money on track days. I also detail their cars for free, so it's a win/win for all involved.
