Satin black Corvette Z06 coated full detail

DP Wheel coating worked great on these wheels

Good job, you gave the car attention that it needed. Can you list your process for the satin paint?

I usually love the look of satin and flat paint jobs but there's something about this 'Vette that doesn't seem right to me. I think it might be that the wheels are not satin as they have some gloss to them. Personally I think that flat or satin wheels would suit the car much better.

Regardless, you fixed it up right :props:

I agree about the gloss wheels and you know what would look better on it, some bronze TSW Nuerburgring wheels, sorry for the spelling but IMO it would set it off right:xyxthumbs:

You did a nice job but didn't post what you used, it could help others out there that have to deal with matte or satin paint, good job nonetheless!

Was kind of thinking the same thing. I have worked on satin vinyl strips before, but never a complete car. Assuming this is a single stage paint???

Nope this was a satin clear. It's got a regular black base just like any base clear job, but it's how the clear is applied that gives the effect. This is a high dollar paint job.

Thank you, car was washed with pure shampoo, no additives. Or gloss agents. It was wiped down with 50/50 white distilled vinegar. Paint Coating was applied very carefully and evenly across the paint.

Not my choice of wheels either, but to each their own, and thank you!
