Saturn Aura named Most Washable Car of 2007

I haven't even see one on the street, good looking car judging by magazines and commercials.

One of my best friends bought his wife one. They are very nice. And for the money, they are hard to beat.

I don't think I've seen those before. I thought the headline saud Saturn A"C"ura lol. Nice looking Saturn though.

Don't think I've seen one, but they do look quiet nice. Still looks like polishing would take some time to do.

Amazing what rebadged Opel's can do for the US market.

should have kept the name opel, or in sweden we call it the copier of saab :P

I'm surprised how many of you are saying you havent seen one? I seen them all over, but yet my area is one where it is very rare to find a higer end Mercedes/BMW/Porsche, much yet the super cars.

I can't drive 2 miles without being passed by a Vette, Porsche, or Ferrari. It's sick, although my car looks better than any of their's :righton:

Sure didn't work for the Cadillac Catera did it? Let's hope (for GM's sake) that this one is not as problematic.

I am not found of the car but it is not a Opel! Soposeds to compete with the Camery. Hey 100,000 mile powertrain warrenty? Sabb has same and maintenance. What is remarkable the Aura is a lot less. It starts someware, I hope they keep making headway!

It actually is an Opel. The Sky is another Opel clone. And, Saturn will soon be getting their own version of the Opel Astra.

Aura's are all over the place here in Indy. They are very nice vehicles, especially in person. The cockpit is uber quiet & the powertrain in them is amazing. GM finally got it right with this car. This isn't the GM/Saturn that you probably know from before. If I were in the market for a mid-size sedan, I'd buy an Aura w/o any hesitation.

Underpinion yes. everything else brand specific. Soltice = Opal speedster? might be but all are new and brand specific. Cattera perrish the thought that is when Zurilla was in. Bosche an Lombe. What do you have in your eyes? We now have car guys in controlling the helm.

It's a nice looking car but I don't think much of the award. Putting any car through a car was is not a good thing.

Okay

Depend onwhat rebadgeing means. The Caterra was a rebadged opel. The Saturn Sky, Soltice might be considered a Opel Speedster except for all new Body panels , engine , Brakes for the USA market. Is the Cadillac XLR a rebadged Vette. Some ways yes in others no. True all Auto companies rebage their products! The Astra for GM might be one. What happened to the last midsized opel Saturn rebaged? Did not last did it (was redesigned for the plastic panels? and achieved? Hardley anything. If you doubt What is a difference between a Lexus and a Cammery (Toyota 3 at last count underpinions/chassis)? same under pinnings an alot of common parts. Same on the Honda side Accura and their other cars. So what do you consider rebadged? 50% 80% content then most are. It is what they do with it.

Ironic, however... Lutz brings over the very nice models GM subsidiaries have overseas, but the more they sell, the more they lose (money)!

Sucks, although we get some great cars from it, namely the newer Saturns, and also we can't forget the GTO or upcoming G8! :D

I would have never considered Pontiac, but Holdens are some nice cars. Man, the Australians really know how to build a car Americans would like. Strangely, the American's don't (for the most part, and sadly). LOL

I am happy with my 2006 G6 GT good car, The Holdon GTO? Tire shreeding problems on that one. Intresting GM produces V8 here an no Gas Guzler charge an The Holdon GTO has a Gas Guzzler charge unless you buy the standaard trans(Manual). Same 350 or 6 liter as here. No the G8 will be engineered in Autralia an Manufactured here. What can I say, Nissan , Mazda, Toyota, have a tech center in Michigan. No wonder is it. Why because the expertise is only in a few spot in the World. Germany, England, Japan and the USA. The USA has a higher concentration of auto expertie( from conceptual to build than any where.) The asians would not invest in a tech center here if their is nothing to offer, would they? We tought them we are getting back to the basics. Think of it Toyota 3 platforms . The Soltice , Sky it is up for debate in GM also who did it! The Europeans gave us the Caterra an the L series Saturn. Lutz has demanded a better interior better styling. The CTS, DTS, Arcadia, Enclave, an Saturn, here in the USA the Vettes? The Pontiac G6, performance? I am not sure where the dividing line is from copied to created. All I know is I do a lot of revies for European cars an Asian type platforms. Toyota tried to have GM sell v8 to them about 6-7 years ago. What copy of another car is yours.

LOL what other kinds of cars are there. on my steet/up the street there are 2 Rolls, 1 new bently, 1 Vantage, a really old Lamborghini, hundreds of Porsches, and millions of vettes. Ferarris are pretty rare though, I have only seen one or 2. I think the rarest thing I have seen is either the SLR or the CXT. Yes Calgary is full of people with tons of money, and love cars! I think that driving down through a more affluent neighbourhood would be better than a car show.

Supprisingly I've only seen one Aura on the road and one in a car show.
