Hey there fellow car nuts :)

I'm new here. My name is Kris, and I detail for a smallish shop in Ohio.

I mostly work on classics. Any Ford muscle really.

Anyways, I'm sure I'll be bugging you all for tips and tricks! Likewise if I have any knowledge to share I'll be more than glad. However, it seems most of you are far more advanced detailers than I.

Wow thanks guys! Never gotten so many welcomes on a forum before haha!

I work in the outer Columbus area, but I don't want to be too specific as I don't own the shop, and I don't want to cause any trouble at the shop. I think half the time they're afraid I'll say something stupid and ruin the name of the shop, so I won't put it out there. What I will say is that it's a prestigious shop and I understand why they don't want any publicity lol.

Again thanks for the welcomes! I'll be around quite a bit!
 
Welcome Kris and don't worry about keeping your employer anonymous, we understand. And you might think that a lot of folks here are more advanced but this is the most welcoming group of folks online i have ever found. You are right...a lot of folks are "pro's" but there are just as many in your category and below and this whole thing works so well in sharing info that i, and you, should never feel intimidated. Even when i ask the stoopid questions!
