Did you guys find these in the tools section on a shelf or in a clearance bin ?
 
I found mine on a shelf with a price tag saying reduced to $41.65.
 
Thanks to justin there are no more in the georgia/alabama area.
 
Porter Cable was bought by Black and decker dewalt last fall. I bought a orbital 7424 for a great price too. They are closing out porter Cable tools everywhere so buy them while you can. Great tools and parts should be avalible still. Dewalt will be coming out with their version of this later this year. Got this from my Dewalt sales rep. Drew
 
Read about the PC on this forum and went down yesterday to my local Lowes and bought two..

Really, I didn't know that. I wonder if Black and decker will live up to the reputation that Porter Cable has? Thank you for sharing.
 
I checked my Lowe's yesterday - nothing, They said that all PC 7336SP are sold out in a whole district.
 
my lowes dont have any of the PC's but i did find the 7424 at farm &fleet. they want $99.98 for it. time to hangle on price since porter cable is closing out. they did not even have the 7336 listed. just thought i would let everyone know there is another store to look for them at
 
My store has 18 of them, they just cant find them. They took my info and will call me when they do find them. They went on clearance and didnt sell, so they boxed them up and threw them in the top racks some where. When they do find them, I plan on buying in bulk. And they did show a price of $41.65.
 
did they find them on the store computer or did you have someone go in back and look? cause with everyone else but me being able to find them at lowes i have a feeling they are out of computer but still in store
 
Computer says 18, the store manager believe's they are still in there somewhere. But after working at Home Depot for 2 years I know the computers lie. Hopefully they will turn up, we say a few pallets on the top of the racks that wernt labled and this was in the tool section.
 
i have been to 6 lowes called about 10 lowes and checked on internet at lowes in norther illinois to soutern wisconsin. also checked on internet for lowesnear groton, connecticut(brother lives there) and near pensicola,florida(sister lives there) and no luck
 
I have the worst luck ever.

So I went back to the Lowes that said they had 18 and they couldnt find them at all, they even brought down the pallets and they were not there.

I started calling today and found 2 stores that had them on display. I called the first one and they guy laughed and said I just sold that display 15 minutes ago. I had one store left, called the guy and he said he would sell it to me. Yes! I go to the store and guess what, the machine is broken, and the manager wouldnt sell it to me.

Im going to give up my search, I have called all the stores in 3 districts and no luck.
 
just went to lowes and they told me they have had a few people in looking for them. the lowes called porter cable and was told the 7424 is discontinued. the store did not have any info on the 7336
