Scotch blue painters tape left crap everywhere!

I have been using the 3m Green tape for many years without a single gooey mess.

I even forgot to remove it from one of my trailers that I had actually been painting. It sat on there, outdoors in the SoCal sun for over a year. It came off with no problem. And the paint line was still fine.
I had a tree limb break off and put a huge scratch in the side. So all I did was use some Eastwood rust converter and then hit it with some Duplicolor spray paint to make it look slightly better.

larry kosilla has a great tip. Rub the tape across your leg once or twice and there should be less of an adhesive on the tape

Yes, I stick it to my shirt to get a little cotton on the tape so its not so messy

The Scotch blue tape also comes in a 60day (low adhesive) variety, which is what I use. Home Depot carries it.
