Is the scratches through the color coat?

If so, Dr Colorchicp would probably be the easiest fix.

Side mirrors are usually a different paint than the body. IOW's might not be CC. Parts like mirrors, side moldings, fender cladding, mud flaps, etc. are often manufactured in the final color.

Not saying yours are, but I'd do a test to find out and go from there.

If it's CC you'll be able to do a compound and buff but that's about it. Might need to do Dr. Color Chip to help fill it in.
If it's injection molded color you'll be able to be much more aggressive with it. Can do spot sanding there and finish it all the way down.

I'm pretty sure he is talking about the actual reflective mirror, not paint. I'd also like to know. I don't think you can compound it because it will mess it up.

Sorry guys. I should have said on the glass part.

Ahhhh... the "glass part". At best then you're talking glass polishing. Mirrors are "second surface" on cars so you'll be able to buff the top to some degree. Not sure though how well the end result work out. :dunno:
