scratches stand out

As far as the scratches go, I'd try a professional detailer close to you. You can also purchase a real da polisher, and some good pads, and give that a go. They are very user friendly if you use good techniques and products.

Harbor freight sells one similar to the Griots garage polisher for a descent price, $60~. That should take care of the majority of the scratches, except the ones that are deep enough to catch your fingernail.


There is tons of great information and videos on this site to make almost anyone churn out professional results.
