30x magnification would really drive everyone here nuts!
And that...IMHO...Would be: FUN :dblthumb2:
(Perhaps would even bring to bear: "irrefutable proof"...one way, or another.)

I see a lot of people recommending a pre-rinse before using a rinseless wash.
If that's the case, why even waste time with a rinseless? You're already sitting at the traditional method at this point, and nullifying all the reasons for going rinseless in the first place.
Lol I bet nobody does it and just continues to bash rinseless washing, until proven otherwise. Before conducting the test you already have a bias as you never tested it but say it doesnt work and creates imperfections in paint?..Then you have to control for variables as well. People can cause swirls, blemishes, etc with a traditional wash with subpar technique, people have been doing so throughout the history of car washing lol.
Who are you responding to? Me? I actually use the GDM method myself...rinseless and waterless in the summer if its not too dirty, this past winter I used GDM if its above 40 not windy and cleaned recently via touchless (less than a week prior). I brought up the test concept knowing it will be difficult...so joked about adding a microscope...
Not you lol, I shouldve quoted, but it was to FUN since if you see previous posts FUN is a rinseless wash hater and states that it causes "blemishes" lol.
OK now I gotcha, remember people are going to have their opinions, one way or the other, and on a hot topic like this I wouldn't let anyone rile your feathers. IMHO regular wash or anything else will eventually swirl paint. Gotta live with it, polish it out every year or two.
Lol im fine, I just think people should actually try the product rather then just saying it doesnt work, or cant see the benefit of something like this vs a traditional wash with soap.
Agree. I was hesitant at first when I tried ONR for the first time. Like most products, their not bubba proof. Any method wether rinseless or traditional can and will cause marring/scratching if using substandard techniques.
exactly thats my point as well. And with their release of ONRWW u csn even get some wax applied in winter weather
Yeah that was my first rinseless, ONRWW. I prefer it over the regular ONR when I ordered the original. Sometimes you just have to trust a company, and IMO Optimum makes some of the highest quality products. Why think their rinseless is anything other than?
It's always evident those who dont like or never tried rinseless lol I dont get all the negativity towards it. I dont see how it nullifies all the reason for going rinseless as you would only pre rinse to loosen dirt or hose off the "loose" dirt which is fast. In a traditional wash you would be pre rinsing and rinsing post wash making sure you remove all the soapy suds..so it's one step less, so while one is rinsing all the suds off in a traditional wash, im already in the drying process. A clear benefit of a rinsless wash like ONR is winter washing, you could hose your car, pull it into your garage and do a rinseless wash indoors..try doing that with a traditional wash. If you dont have a garage, like myself, try doing winter washes outside with soapy suds sitting on your car. Also the solution leaves the car with a nice gloss to it. I could tell easily the difference on my black metallic paint. ONR can be used for clay lube and quick detailer if you choose where soap has one use. Therefore adding even more value to the product.
Just because it is a rinseless wash it doesnt mean you must throw out precautionary methods. People have different situations as well, for myself, I wash my car parked on the street with a portable hose,so it's practical/faster for me to do a rinseless wash in general regardless of weather temperature and not have to get all the soap suds off. Again people have different situations, since my car is parked outside all year long and collects dirt/dust/debris all day long from trees, bird bombs, etc. I rinse first due to this, I wouldnt want to wipe a bird bomb with my wash media n put it in my bucket (who wants bird sh!t floating around whether a rinseless or traditional). Some people have garaged cars so they dont experience/ their car isnt exposed nearly as much to all that dirt/rain/etc so pre rinse may not be needed as they may experience only light to medium dirt buildup. I would typically get a medium to heavy buildup.
I don't think you read my post quite right, but I won't fault you for it.
The thing is, I DO use rinseless wash. But I do it the way it's designed to be used, without a pre-rinse. Rinseless, to me, is being able to wash the entire car without using a hose. As soon as you get that hose out and rinse the car down, you get all that water inside all the body gaps, under the trim, inside the mirrors, etc- and you'll get drips.
IMHO, that's the best thing about a rinseless. Not using a ton of water, and having it run between body panels, just waiting to drip on your freshly dried surface!
If the car is too dirty, I'll use a regular wash method. I'll usually add a little of my rinseless to the "clean water" bucket, for the added lubricity.
