Anybody know of a way to get some minor scratched off of molded plastic? It looks like the key missed the ignition slot a few too many times and left scratches on the plastic surround of the steering column. They are minor, I coundnt get them to show up on a pic. Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks.

A very light abrasive will remove some scratches but can also make the area shinier than the surrounding area, definately wouldn't try it on an area with any texture at all. Probably better to live with the scratches.

you could give Meguiars PlasticX a try. ??

I think PlasticX and other similar products are designed mostly for clear plastics where "shine" is desired, it lists such things as plastic windows, headlights, etc. It's a mild abrasive so if the area is textured or has a matte finish I'd leave it. maybe there's an out of sight area where you could do a test run?
