Screw all you guys....

2 deg here west of Cleveland... I had the garage up to 80 yesterday, almost put shorts and flip-flops on. I did clay bar and 845 my Malibu... May heat it up today and do the interior. I'm off Tuesdays and Wednesdays and I do get bored with wife and friends at work and kids at school. Still in my pajamas sitting under a blanket by the heat.

It is currently -38 degrees (without the wind factor) where I grew up and woke up this morning with temperatures hovering at 39 degrees..... SO the moral of the story is you are not bound to where you live and can easily take all that aggression (towards others that have it "easy") and move LOL!

When I finished University I CHOSE to move South so I never have to see snow, shovel it, pee in it, do snow angels etc... I got rid of the parkas, the mitts, the tuque (yes I am a french Canadian from Northern Quebec), the scarfs, the specialty sunglasses etc.... and never looked back. It's been 19 years and I have yet to miss the snow!

Hope you have a great day and don't forget to eat enough to replenish those calories you burn shoveling snow LOL!

How about all of the southern folks invite the northern folks down for tome time in the winter. I would LOVE to MOVE. My job prohibits moving out of Ohio. I also hate hotels and camping. SO, I will entertain the gift of a house in the Myrtle Beach area or others upon approval. :-)

I just realized that I am in the I.E. Weather is a bit different than the SGV but other than that it's pretty nice out here.

I'm ready for winter to be over :surrender: I need to move out of the northeast :bolt:

It is hard, Every spring you have to give the car a through soak and work much harder to get the salt and grime off, so annoying

9 degrees where I am right now. Only the strong survive. The weak run south. :)

Right....well we'll be driving, not running and when I wanna see some snow I can drive to the Cherahola Skyway and see it, enjoy the view and then turn around and head back down the mountain. We can't wait to get out of here, keeping my fingers crossed, time will tell.

If the rain begins to freeze, I won't drive - I grew up in the north, so I've been taught how to drive in nasty weather - but most of the people here can't understand "ice" or "snow" and try to drive their F250s like they're on a dry racetrack... I'd rather not have to get my car repaired after one of them slams into me.....

Who are smart enough to live somewhere where you don't have to deal with this all winter long! Lol!
:-)

I used to live in an area like that until about 17 years ago when I moved to NC.

Out were I lived the roads would be snow covered pretty much all winter except for a few days here and there.

50 in Orlando today - it's getting pretty serious around here..

There are a few back roads that take forever to show tar after a snowfall! I actually prefer traveling a snow covered road as opposed to a treated road. There's no salt, sand, or traffic! :-)

Hard packed snow is usually pretty nice to drive on actually. :xyxthumbs:

It was when there was 2 ft on the roads and drifted shut with about 5 ft or 6 ft is what I got tired of.

Maybe this will help all you guys with tired arms from shoveling snow...

I took these pictures about an hour ago... as you can see from the sunshine on the cars it's sunny and warm here at Autogeek...

Reminds me, I'm low on sun block, need to stop off on the way home and pick up something with SPF60 or so...

Gee, thanks Mike! :-/ lol!

In St. Louis 29 degrees today, 2 degrees tonight, 14 tomorrow....brrrr. Doesn't include the wind chill factor either. Waiting for warmer weather, need to clean truck and have a boat sitting in the garage that needs to be detailed. New products waiting to be used. Oh well just have to wait.

Just02896, I like having the four seasons here also. And a serious case of Cabin Fever is going around here. I can't get rid of it. LOL
