Screw all you guys....

Good thing I shoveled our roof after the first storm. Sadly, lots of roof collapses in the area.

Omg you were driving the Genesis???

All year round! It's actually not too bad as long as you don't stop lol..Funny to say that but it's true. I keep a longer distance and will creep on the car in front of me as long as i can to keep wheels moving. It sits on 4 Blizzaks so that helps a lot. I only got stuck once this winter season on my own driveway (small hill-compacted snow)

The worst part is, i sit at work 80% of the time, and just sat for another 3 hours..my butt hurts!!!

Lol nice. Your poor butt
Blizzaks help a lot.

I'm fortunate to have a truck for bad weather.

Re: Screw all hI guys....

What is all that white stuff in the picture? do you drive through that or are there street sweepers coming to collect it all?:ll :laugning:

Figured I'd share my trip home from work in Chicago. I live approximately 27 miles from work. I left work at 2:30pm today and just pulled in home at exactly 6pm. So sick of this!! Some pictures..

Dude, you need a 4x4. That looks bad.

Unfortunately, I'm all to familiar with it this year! We had almost nothing for December and January. For February it just won't stop! There will be snow banks melting in June at this rate! :-(

That would be the good life! I sure would have at least a FWD car for this weather, but with monthly school payments of $1,000 that kinda takes away from having anything else as a vehicle :(

RWD + snow = deathtrap IME. Maybe it's just BMWs in snow.

What drive train lay-out did I drive in the snow before my purchase in 1989 of a Buick Riviera?
I'm happy to report that it was rear-wheel drive.

I'm also happy to report that I haven't owned any front-wheel drive vehicles for a long while now, and hope I never will again.

Just my preference.
To each their own.

^^ I miss to this day my 300C SRT-8. I had the Diablo tune, exhaust, TB spacer, intake, etc. It was fast. I sold it when I moved up North. I should`ve just brought a good snow tire setup.

Maybe its a BMW thing, but there are a lot of hills around here. I remember driving BMWs in the snow and having to speed up to get momentum to make it up a hill.

In the M I actually started sliding backwards once or twice. Then, the whole car starts swaying back and forth just coasting on ice - may have something to do with the M differential - as I never noticed THAT on other BMWs.

Screw me today.... got more snow overnight.

The husband got food poisoning yesterday, so he's dead and in bed. Since I don't know how to work the snowblower I had to do the whole property by hand

Ok, ready for a nap now LOL

*I will add I'd rather shovel than have food poisoning though :(

^^ Yes, I have had food poisoning and shovel at least 2 hours when we get hammered with snow. Shoveling is paradise compared. Is it spring yet????
