I am going to be detailing a Silver Equinox and white mustang when I get a chance. I have Poorboys Ex-P, 4* UPP and Duragloss #105. Which one would give best results on which car in terms of looks? I am also going to top that with either Duragloss AW, S100, or CG 5050.

I would like to know that myself! Just started using Duragloss, I'm very please with it. Keep us updated on what you use.

Subscribing because I have a white mustang and would like to know!

EDIT: I've used NXT in the past and looked great for a week or so, but then the slickness somewhat wore off.

All of the products you have are excellent. Personally, I'd go with 4*UPP topped with CG5050 and use the AW as a booster. I've been happy with the 5050...very slightly more reflective than Souveran, maybe not quite as wet...will look great on silver or white....and of course prep is the key.

I think I may use the 4* UPP on the silver and the #105 on the white. But I am still looking for opinions if anyone has used these on these color cars. I have ex-p topped with s100 on my truck currently and like the looks but I think the s100 isn't the choice for a black truck outside 24/7. I may get Collinite to top it with next. If CG 5050 is more reflective then I will probrably try it on the mustang b/c I believe it is hard to get the wet look on white.

Used NXT in the past, slickness gone, but the protection is still there. Real good stuff for OTC.

Since you've got the 5050, I would definitely try that over the sealants you are considering. Yes, for a 24/7 vehicle, Collinite is the way to go. I've got the 845....the key there (like most LSPs) is thin coats.

Yea, I agree with the protection.

Newb Question: What's OTC and LSP

Senior member or Newb? OTC= over the counter, LSP= last step product (= typically sealant or carnauba). Sparkie.....where's that acronym list of yours....lol.

Love DG 105, really hard to decide, but as Waxman said, UPP is the ticket for pure wet/slickness. CG 5050 is a no brainer imo and my findings are the same as Waxman.

Note if durability is a huge concern, you would be better with DG 105/CG 5050.

Durability really isn't an issue for the mustang as it is garage kept I would say 80% of the time. The other is about 50% and I have ready access equinox.

PB EX is looking really good on my white stang's passenger rear quarter panel. I would imagine EX-P would look just as good.

Not sure if you can see the rear quarter to well but it's the only pic I have of it

How durable is that EX-P? Is that the one with carnauba? I'm looking into getting that or Wolfgang.

Testing both right now on different panels but so far so good on both. WG DGS is nearing the 2 month mark and all is good beads are nice and tight. PB EXwCanuaba (ex-p is the pure amino sealant) is just over a month and beads well, unfortuantly the test is going to be cut short due to winter approaching and my #16 take the wheel for that trip......

How was the shine on both? About the same? I'm leaning towards EX-P w/ carnauba for my side gig since it's about 1/2 the cost, and only $20 for 32 oz.

I think I will use the Duragloss #105 on the white mustang since wytstang already has a comparison going on with the ex-p. The silver will get the UPP and 5050 for sure.

About the same in my eyes both look great both were pretty easy to apply and remove (WG was slightly easier). After winter I plan on spliting the hood and applying both side by side and see who wins (really doesn't matter who wins I'll still use and buy both lol).

Well teeks just said EX-P only lasts him 3-6 weeks? That kinda puts a downer on that sealant for cutomer cars. I want something that'll protect for at least 3 months.
