Nice update. I like your comparison process - hit 'em with the pw!! All look very close and not seeing any real difference and wouldn't expect to at this point.

Something is off, just not sure what. None have been topped but, hi temp and mckees I've used before and have lasted longer...hmmm

I haven’t had that problem yet. I put it on my personal car four weeks ago and it’s still performing great. I do use a mix of Reload and ECH02 as a QD so that is probably affecting my results.

I ordered some Hydr02 today and am interested in seeing how that does.

For s&g I just went out and did a spray test and then a water test. The spray resulted in very fine microbeading and the water ran off like the surface was allergic to it.

Again, the QD I use has to be adding to the results.
 
You mention that D114 is used to wash the panel. What dilution are you using?

Not surprised at all by cancoat. It is a strong performer. The coating characteristics are really nice with it.

I think I'm going to use reset and try it again, I thought I remembered someone saying d114 took away LSP characteristics somewhere on the interwebs

At a strong dilution ratio it has the potential to degrade or strip a wax.

At the 1:8 ratio it is designed to remove all polishing oils/residue/fillers off the paint. (From polishing)

The 1:8 ratio is not ideal for waterless wash, however even if used it will not strip your lsp.

N914 Tip : 1:8 mixture makes a killer wheel/tire cleaner!

They work the exact same way... N-914 is a clone of D114.

We recommend 256:1 dilution ratio for rinseless washing (128:1 for really dirty cars) so you probably don't need the 31:1 ratio you're using for bird bombs and wheel cleaning.

15:1 will remove residual compound and polish residue but those are much easier to remove than waxes and sealants."

Also N914 is not a direct clone of D114. That is speaking from experience in using both. They are similar though.
