Maybe your good synthetic wax is doing the protection and not Jet Seal?
To be honest, they're all similar in longevity- after 4-6 months, it's hard to identify exactly what causes a product's performance to drop off. So to say one lasts longer than another is misleading at that point. Maybe one saw an extra heavy handed wash in those months. Or another saw an episode of salt on the road. How would you rate/stack McKee's up against powerlock and fk1000p?

Hey guys I'm looking to switch up my go to sealant I've been using megs ultimate paste wax and although I like it's performance I'm not a fan of its application or removal, I'd like to switch to a liquid to have the ability to apply with a machine and something I don't have to re wet with a quick detailer to get completely off. I realized after some time I was taking too long in the waxing process so I'm just looking for something to help reduce my time spent waxing.

I have to get doing something wrong with fk1000p because I just don't get the results I hear everyone rave about. I don't get the super glossy look I always hear people claim. Maybe I need to let it set longer then 20 mins. How long are you letting it sit for before you remove it?To be honest, they're all similar in longevity- after 4-6 months, it's hard to identify exactly what causes a product's performance to drop off. Obviously FK takes a little more time when applying. And it's the most glass-y or mirror like shine. It also self-cleans the best (with a pressure wand). PL darkens paint the most. I prefer the application of PL over the McKees due to product consistency (it's thinner). But McKee's is just a nice balance of all desired characteristics one likes to have in an LSP. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.
I dunno man I never had any issues with Jetseal. And I used it for winter. Would totally use it again.
Well so far there seems to be a majority of jetseal and powerlock users may give them a try although that sonax pns still has my top interest!

Poly Wax sounds like a rock solid performer. It's next on my list to try. There's a couple good threads floating around here somewhere about the poly wax.Jetseal was reformulated around the end of 2014. It was jetseal 209 the newer one is supposed to last "up to a year" many that tried it and didn't like it had the older version
There are a bunch of great sealants. Why not go with the Griot's poly wax. Griots Garage Liquid Gloss Poly Wax is an easy on, easy off car wax that lasts up to 6 months!

I actually take it off pretty quickly. Often I'll do a panel, then one more, then go back and remove the first. I just keep an eye on it and when it finger swipes clean, I take it off. Am I remembering this correctly- did someone here say they even let this sit overnight sometimes before removal? I think I read that recently. This thread is like asking "Who's the greatest rock band"?
I think it all depends on your climate, working surface, paint color, and expectation level.
That being said, I always defer to Mike P's statement of: "Find something you like, and use it often."
