Currently using meguiars hybrid coating. It’s been very good and I have a decent stock of it, but might get used on my wife and dad’s cars.

My daily is far from a daily. I work from home and it gets maybe 7.5-8k miles a year. It sits in the garage a ton.

So, thinking of possibly going back to a sealant since ultimate durability isn’t necessarily a factor and I do find time to maintain the car on a pretty regular basis. Plus, I do enjoy putting a fresh coat of something on the car from time to time.

I’ve been out of the sealant game for a bit but am considering the following

Jescar ultra lock
Griots ceramic liquid wax
Old standby…845. Loved this topped with optimum car wax or d156
Another oldie-dg 105 topped with aqua wax

Car is dark blue metallic, if that helps. Again, looking for solid durability, but it will likely get a drying aid once a month or so.

Thanks

Not sure why you would want to make a move backwards unless you physically want to apply the sealant for therapeutic reasons.
Meg's hybrid is going to be superior to those sealant, plus as you mentioned you have a stock of it.

I understand wanting to try something new, but I would use up what you have first before trying a sealant.

My $0.02.......my recommendations seem to fall on death ears in this forum......carry on....

Use up what he's already got??
Hush your mouth. Let him fill up 8 cabinets like the rest of us

Wolfgang's SIO2 Paint Sealant is my favorite. I got about seven months of durability out of it and water behavior was very coating-like for five months. The added bonus is it looks really glossy and application/removal is far and away easier than anything I've ever tried. It's my favorite by a big margine.

Collinite 845 is always a good option as well, but not as easy to apply. I loved the way it looked on black vehicles.

No. You’re making perfect sense honestly. I’m thinking more the megs has served me well.

I've seen this before (by myself).
You were afraid this product would be discontinued so you went out and bought a case just to be safe
I was able to get these for $10/kit....couldn't pass it up....bought out all they had

I've done the same, but will never do again 🤞
It's taken me 10 years to burn through the stuff that I purchased that way

Autozone or Advance?

It from Meijer stores
Yep....have all but one can......oh and I gave one to a friend

The two sealants I have at present are Jescar Powerlock, which has one maybe two application remaining in the bottle and TW Seal and shine. So I've been looking for another sealant and have considered several. I'm going with Jescar Ultralock.
