Does this make sense? I wont be doing this process all the time, but strictly on my own vehicles, and my families classics

xmt3, 1, xmt glaze, wolfgang sealent, then pinnacle paste....

NOW, will the pinnacle paste loose some of its deep shine because it is applied ontop of a sealant? or will it look virtually the same, but will have the hard layer of sealent below??

I love detailing my cars and families, but with nearly a dozen cars split between 3 people, its simply to much work to deal with pinnacle lasting only 6-8 weeks...working 65+ hours a week at my shop, i wont be able to keep up

shoot me some opinions guys!!

Sorry, i have Zero experience with sealents

:buffing:

Im not sure about the wolfgang sealant bonding to the xmt glaze. If i was you i would use a finer polish to remove all the micro marring instead of hiding it with the glaze. Then use the wolfgang followed by the pinnacle after a 12 hour cure time. For your other question i believe it will look virtually the same on top of the sealant, maybe better depending on your preference. Over time the pinnacle will lose its shine as it goes away but you will be left with the sealant for protection.

I was unaware a sealent may not stick....anyone ahve a recomendation on a sealant that would stick fien to xmt glaze from AG

Not sure if there is a difference in manufacturers but Poorboys said that you could use their EX-P sealant over one of their glazes with no issues whatsoever. This was quoted in a recent thread.

Pat.

ic that Wolfgang actaully has a glaze also, so i would imagine you could sue there sealent over their own glaze...

you can , if you read the finishing glaze directions its actually a final polish product versus a true glaze however.

aaa ic, so their "glaze" really jsut is a extremely fine polish then, so i could just use that then the sealent for the desired results.

kllrwheels, so i could probably, jsut skip the xmt #1 and go right to wg glaze...which is technically a finish polish then a glaze...i see it has no wax like xmt glaze does..

Im not sure if this is the kind of advice you are looking for but if you polish correctly and remove all swirls then use a fine finishing polish such as xmt #1 or wolfgang finishing glaze a true glaze with no correction does very little for shine and can reduce the durability of the protective layer placed on top due to incomplete bonding. Unless you are trying to fill swirls or cover imperfections i would leave the glaze out.

I would skip the glaze as well: XMT3, 1, sealant, and or wax. I do remember some members not like XMT glaze, they said it was too watery and really didn't add much. .02

I'd skip the glaze too. I only use sealants on fresh clean paint since I can't remember all the exceptions (which ones work over waxes or oils).
