you dont really need to wax it at all, its kinda cool to watch water, dirt, and soap run right off it. You kinda miss all the steps sometimes as its quite easy to keep up. Only downfall is alot of detail sprays streak over it as if its suggesting "leave me alone". Its nice and reflective, not plastic looking, but not as glossy as some other Optimum products IMO.
