So, I've been in the market for a decent work light and a quality wash hose. I saw that Sears had the 50' black lifetime warranty hose on sale in this week's ad, so I headed out to check it out and what 500watt lights they had with stands.

I got there, grabbed the hose at $19.99 (usually $24.99) and once I got to the lights I was shocked! The twin 500 watt (1000 watts total) stand halogen light (normally $29.99) was on sale for only $19.99! That's the reg price of the single 500 watt version, so of course why not pick up the bigger one for the same price...haha. :D

Got to the register and they offered me a $15 off the purchase coupon to be used today just for opening up a Sears Mastercard. Done deal. :) So instead of $55 with tax (assuming reg prices), my 2 items were $30 with tax! Needless to say, I'm happy.

For those with short attn spans. :p
-Sears 50 ft black, lifetime warranty hose, sale $20
-Sears twin 500 watt (1000 watt total) stand work light, sale $20
-$15 off coupon that can be used on the spot when opening a Sears credit card.

I haven't carried a balance on a credit card since in over 5 years, I'm good. It's nice to have the $15 discount, and I forgot they also send me $20 in 2 coupons in the mail too. Can't lose.

AWESOME! I went out and bought that same hose but the 100 foot version last week and used it the next day. It's AWESOME!!!

Good to hear, and 100 feet! Wow! I bet that works nicely! I don't have a pressure washer, so I wanted less length to keep pressure up.

when you get those 20 dollar off coupons...do what i did...use it on a leaf blower to dry your car and a hose reel for your new hose :)

I used to have to connect two hoses to each other and it's a great way to lose pressure as the connection was right shyte. New hose though, DOUBLE the pressure!!!

I bought a leafblower as well and actually find it easier to dry a car using the hose on my shop vac...

while we both are in the same cup ...it is fair to forwarn the group in case they are not quite as lucky and might need 90 days to pay for or recoup the costs. At between 21-24% its highway robbery.

Got the same lights from my better half for X-mas, they work pretty good. I think she got them on sale for the same price. Just watch the clips on the stands, I actually snapped one off right after I got it. They gave me a new stand no questions asked :righton:

Haha good ideas! A hose reel would be nice, I'll look into one. Is the $20 off coupon for one item that they send you?

I think anyone breathing knows that the carrying a balance on a credit card is a no no, and really, what difference is it whether one card is 16%, and another is 23%? They both stink and no one in their right mind would pay either one. I don't even look, since I only have 2 main cc's, one shell mc for 5% cash back on gas, and one Amex with 0% for 12 months on any purchases or bal transfers. Gotta love business majors, lol, we like to talk in numbers. :o :D

Add this to the deals I'm picking up, $70+tax clean n carry 5hp, 4 gallon wet/dry vac, for....

EDIT: Don't edit my posts, your vacuums are like 5x the price I showed, we dont care.

Keep the card open, don't close it. Put it in a sock drawer if not using it. If you have more credit available to you it helps keeps your Fico scores up as your utilization is less. If you pay in full even better because the higher the balance owed generally the lower your scores will be.

I plan on it, only kilrwheels thinks it's a terrible idea to save money....

I love my Ridgid 3.5 hp wet/dry vac, one of the best things I ever bought! And my lifetime warranty Sears hose is AWESOME! Love that thing. I've got 100 feet or raw WASHING power at my disposal now!
