Second order from AG...how does it look?

This is my second order from AG to just about round out my collection of detailing supplies...now i'll be able to do just about anything b/c i have all of the ness products to do so...

Let me know what you think...if you have suggestions please let me know...

what color is your vehicle?
Maybe add DG105 to the order and pinnacle spray wax.
 
well my car is Fiji Blue Pearl...i already have the Pinn SSII wax...but i will look into both products...

I think he means like a Pinnacle Crystal Mist Detail Spray? Speaking of that, whats a good cheaper alternative to the Crystal Mist Detail Spray? That stuff is pretty expensive considering $20 and Im going through my bottle pretty quickly.

Nice, I am adding that to my cart for a QD, that will be a big money saver over the Pinnacle crystal mist.
 
you getting 2 gallons or 2 16 oz of DG 901? looks like a pretty good order!
 
2 16 oz of DG 901...cant spring for the 128 oz goods just yet haha...

well i already have crytal mist at home...but i dont really use it b/c i dont really understand the use of a QD...i mean when do you use it and when do you not use it...and how do u use it? do you spray the car and wipe with a guzzler or a MF towel...and how does it not scratch a car?

don't mean to threadjack but I noticed Gnarboots11 is in Simi Valley...I'm in Ventura....we are really close....:righton:

sorry. back on topic.

with the QD you just spray on a section wipe around with one side of a MF towel (no guzzler) then flip it over and wipe off... it really works great....but don't use it when your car is too dirty. that is when problems happen. but I just use it to maintain the cars finish after i wash it... I'll use it on streaks,and to remove water spots and bird crap.

No reason for 2 5 gallon buckets with grit guards, thats a $20+ waste, just use the 1 5 gallon with GG and a cheap 3 gallon wal mart bucket for rinse water. Also, skip buying 2 small DG 901 wash concentrates when you can buy a whole gallon for not much more. The rest looks good to me. :)

In all honesty, a quick detailer is pretty much a waste, any protection it leaves is shortlived, and if using a good car wash like pb's SS&S or DG 901, you'll get good slickness post wash anyways. All I use mine for is to keep in my car for bird bombs and for clay lube. Quick detailing post wash is overrated IMO. Also, QS is amazing for water beading on windows.

Ya man, Ventura County representin on Autogeeks. I am a noob though. Just got my PC 2 weeks ago with my CCS pads, and either today or tomorrow I will be getting all my XMT polishes and some other stuff. Gonna start doing all my families cars, starting with this POS:

so as i think about it thier are 2 items im interested in...

a plastic headlight restorer and a glass wax (like a rain x but better)...

what would you suggest?
